Fabrication and Characterization of a New SERS-Active Substrate

A new method for preparing SERS-active substrate was reported.The prefabricated aluminum foils was immersed into the mixture of silver enhancer and initiator for 30 seconds and then rinsed by doubly distilled deionized water.Surface morphology and structure was analyzed by SEM.The measurements of the SERS spectra of crystal violet on the substrates indicate that such a silver substrate has better SERS activity and stability.
