Experimental evidence for the molecular molybdenum fluorides MoF to MoF6: a matrix isolation and DFT investigation

All the molecular molybdenum fluorides, MoF to MoF 6 , have been identified in argon matrices with the first characterisation of MoF and MoF 2 (bond angle of ca. 133°), the reassignment of IR bands of MoF 3 and the identification of a new band for MoF 5 .
