摘要
Little is known about the course of disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD), a new DSM-5 diagnosis for children and adolescents. Recent research has demonstrated that youth with DMDD at age 6 years are at increased risk for psychiatric diagnoses and impairment at age 9 years, although some children no longer met the criteria for any disorder at age 9. We describe predictors for those who persisted and those who desisted and will report on the sample group through age 12 years upon completion of the interviews.
