摘要
Abstract Electromagnetic microwave absorption materials are highly desired in electronics application in recent years. Herein, ZnO nanoparticles were successfully fabricated via sonochemical process using zinc acetate dihydrate (Zn(CH3COO)2·2H2O) and ammonia water as raw materials. The as-prepared ZnO nanoparticles annealed at 120 °C for 8 h had significantly enhanced electromagnetic microwave absorption properties. This could be attributed to dielectric loss originating from interface polarization, and dipole polarization due to oxygen vacancy defects. The minimum reflection coefficient reached −37.7 dB at 8.96 GHz with a small thickness of 2.1 mm. This work provides a new idea of preparing electromagnetic microwave absorption materials (MAMs) with strong absorbing properties.
