One new triterpene from Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.

One compound was isolated by silica gel column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 from the water-soluble fraction of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.The structure of compound was elucidated by chemical characters and spectroscopic analysis as 2α,3α,19α,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12en-28-oic acid.This compound is a new triterpene.
