摘要
The paper is focused on the digital twin concept in the automotive industry. It is an actual topic, which mainly speeds up the development process, increases saving of costs, and enhances product quality. Building a digital twin is a complex discipline requiring the mutual connection of many engineering domains as virtual prototyping, system modeling, lean validation, artificial intelligence, and many others. The core of the digital twin is a precise system model, which consists of reduced order models (ROMs). An example of thermal ROM creation for an inverter component is detailly described.
