摘要
Organic solar cell (OSC) devices built on opaque substrates need to be illuminated from the top, resulting in different device structures compared to bottom illuminated transparent substrate devices. To understand the issues with opaque substrate devices, P3HT:PCBM active layer OSC test configurations are analyzed. The choice of bottom and top electrodes in opaque substrate devices is affecting device yield and performance respectively. The analysis, however, points to no inherent reason limiting opaque substrate device performance.
