摘要
Cholestasis is a hepatic injury that occurs when normal bile flow is impaired or blocked, and excess accumulation of bile acids and other harmful substances in the liver may lead to liver damage. Multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 (MRP2) is the main transporter of bilirubin excretion, mainly expressed in the bile duct side of the liver, which is responsible for the excretion of bilirubin and other bile components and plays an important role in the occurrence and development of cholestasis. The progress of this research is reviewed in this paper.
