摘要
The adsorption characteristics of the methylene blue (MB) dye on Bi 2 WO 6 nanopowder, which was synthesized by the microwave‐assisted hydrothermal method, were studied. The structural and morphological properties of the Bi 2 WO 6 sample were examined by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and powder X‐ray diffraction. The change in the dye concentration with respect to the time of adsorption on the as‐prepared Bi 2 WO 6 nanomaterial was measured by UV–visible spectrophotometry according to Beer–Lambert's law. The maximum adsorption capacity was determined by monitoring the change in the adsorption amount of MB in acidic or basic conditions (various pH). The Bi 2 WO 6 nanomaterial showed excellent reusable properties after annealing at 300°C, which was performed to remove the adsorbed MB for recycling.
