Alkoxide Ligands

There has been lasting interest in the chemistry of the transition metal alkoxide complexes during the last 150 years. This manuscript aims to present important developments in the field made during the last 15 years. However, background from prior years will be also provided when necessary for the contextualization of the recent developments. Stereoelectronic properties, energetics, and general synthetic methods will be discussed first, followed by the survey of the alkoxide complexes by group. Applications of the metal alkoxide complexes will be mentioned when appropriate.
