摘要
Abstract Nowadays, stainless steel (SS) based electrode has gained extensive interest for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) owing to its low‐cost and high efficiency. However, the problem of hazardous Cr dissolving out from the SS during the surface treatment needs to be solved urgently. Herein, we report a kind of self‐supported Ni−Fe oxyhydroxide pagoda‐shaped nanocone array prepared through an environmentally friendly method, which can be developed as an electrocatalyst for OER with low overpotential, small Tafel slope, and good stability under alkaline condition. This route ensures good catalytic performance of the prepared electrode and eliminates the leach of Cr ion at the same time.
