Research on Removal of Fluoride and Chloride in Zinc Hydrometallurgy

The source of fluoride and chloride,as well as their damage to the equipment and electrowinning in zinc hydrometallurgy system were introduced in the paper.At the same time,the methods of fluoride and chloride removal from zinc hydrometallurgy were analyzed in pyrometallurgical processing and wet processing.It mailnly introduced the multi-hearth furnace roasting and rotary kiln roasting,which are commolly employed for the roasting of zinc meterials to removal of fluorde and chloride as well as removing fluoride from Zinc sulfate solution by method of adsorption,method of chemical precipitation and method of flocculent precipitation and removing chloride from Zinc sulfate solution with copper,bismuth oxide and ion exchange resin.
