摘要
Tape casting is an efficient wet process for forming thin, uniform sheets of ceramics and metals. These sheets may be used and fired individually, or combined to make multi-material products, components and integrated circuitry. Composed of powder, solvent and organic additives, a tape slurry is cast onto an impermeable carrier and dried to form a strong, flexible sheet capable of being shaped and perforated and may be used as a base layer upon which to screen-print functional materials. After firing, a potentially complex, three-dimensional, multi-material component can be manufactured.
