Determination of the Distribution of Sentence Length Frequencies for Hindi Language Texts and Utilization of Sentence Length Frequency Profiles for Authorship Attribution

The present paper examines the application of sentence length frequency profiling for the characterization of the writing styles of different authors in authorship attribution. The frequency distribution of the sentence lengths is first determined for various Hindi texts, and the parameters of the derived distributions associated with the selected statistical features calculated on the basis of frequency profile are then used for description of 77 texts written by four authors.
