摘要
Objective To explore and evaluate a new skills-based instrument on health literacy regarding respiratory infectious diseases.Methods Quota sampling was adopted considering gender,age,and education background.Testing of the new instrument was conducted among 455 adults in Beijing by using computer.Difficulty,discrimination,validity and reliability of the instrument were assessed based on Classical Test Theory.Results The overall difficulty and discrimination of the instrument were 0.74 and 0.46 respectively.After being extracted 25 items of instrument,the instrument demonstrated good internal consistency reliability with a Cronbach' s α of 0.842.As for the construct validity,five factors explained 54.84% of the total variance,which can be named prose,document,quantitative,audiovisual and information seeking,and confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the model fitted well(χ2=6.72,P=0.15,IFI=0.995,TLI=0.988,CFI=0.995,RMSEA=0.039).Conclusion The pilot study showed that the new skills-based instrument of health literacy regarding respiratory infectious diseases had good reliability and validity.
