摘要
Design of wideband circularly polarized microstrip antenna is presented in the paper. The proposed antenna consists of two crossed dipoles and four parasitic patches. We increase the impedance bandwidth and axial ratio (AR) bandwidth by using heart-shaped patch while realize the circular polarization by feeding broadband crossed dipole through a 90 0 -phase shifter. Four slotted circular parasitic elements are adopted in order to further broaden the circular polarization bandwidth. The proposed antenna achieves a wide impedance bandwidth of 71% (11.94-25.19 GHz) and an excellent axial-ratio bandwidth of 48% (12.82-20.90 GHz), respectively. Simulation results are presented to validate the design, where 7.2 dBc gain is obtained.
