摘要
Electrospinning is a versatile method for the generation of ultrathin fibers forming highly porous mats. To extend the technique to preceramic polymers, the rheological properties of SiCN-precursor/solvent solutions are investigated systematically to control and predict the non-woven morphology during electrospinning as described in article number 2100321 by Luiz F. B. Ribeiro, Günter Motz, Sergio Y. G. González, and co-workers. After pyrolysis the resulting highly porous ceramic mats are suitable as high-performance filter systems and catalytic supports in harsh environments.
