J Infect. 2021; 83: 76-83 Abstract Full Text Full Text PDF PubMed Scopus (15) Google Scholar CRF07_BC, CRF01_AE and CRF55_01B were predominant strains in Shenzhen from 2011 to 2018, accounting for 87.48% of the total new diagnosed infections, and we found different transmission trends for the three subtypes. Shenzhen is an early open port city in China, suffering from a sever HIV-1 epidemic. Shenzhen could serve as a hub for HIV-1 dissemination and may become the epitome and predictor of the national HIV epidemic.
