A fully integrated RC oscillator is presented. A current-capacitor-based voltage average feedback(IC-VAF) technique is proposed to improve frequency stability. A trip voltage adjustable invert technique(TVAI) is proposed to avoid using comparators, thus saving power and area. The simulation results show that the power consumption is 24.72μW at 1.2 V power supply, and the temperature coefficient is 25 ppm/°C from −40 °C to 125 °C, The calculated figures of merits(FOMs) FOM1 and FOM2 are 1.24nW/kHz and 157.2dBc/Hz, respectively. The oscillator occupies an active area of 0.027mm2 in a 55nm standard CMOS process.
