摘要
MicroRNAs (miRNA) are closely related to the growth, development and diseases of animals and plants. However, there are few reports on the regional distribution of miRNAs interacting with their target gene mRNA. Based on the miRecords database, matching Characteristic of miRNAs and their target genes which were verified by experiences on six species, including D. melanogaster, C. elegans, D. rerio, R. norvegicus M. musculus, and H. sapiens were studied. Their distributions of the matching regions and characteristics of the matching fragments were systematically analyzed by the region matching frequency distribution and some mathematical methods like the new symmetric relative entropy, information entropy and the free energy. It was found that the distribution of miRNA matching regions on the mRNA sequence of its target gene increased first and then decreased, miRNAs significant preference acts on the range of 75%~ 95% of the mRNA sequence. The sequence composition and structure of miRNA were similar to those of matching region fragments of the mRNA sequences of their target genes; There is a variety of matching intensity between miRNA and matching region fragments of the mRNA sequence of their target genes. Based on the systematic analysis of the matching characteristics between miRNAs and matching region fragments of the mRNA sequences of their target genes. It is hoped to provide some help for excavating the regulatory network of ncRNA involved in gene expression such as miRNA.
