摘要
Efficient waste gas treatment technologies containing catalytic processes are necessary to meet the requirements of rigorous global emission regulations. However, the catalyst was inevitably poisoned due to the accumulation of trace amounts of SO2 during actual operation. This review focuses on the latest progress of SO2-tolerant catalysts for CO oxidation, NO reduction, VOCs elimination, and diesel exhaust purification, aiming to summarize the design principle for the construction of SO2-tolerant active sites. Combined with the recent progress and our understanding, the potential design principles and strategies for constructing SO2-tolerant catalysts are proposed. This review may open up new possibilities for developing catalysts that can tolerate sulfur and address the challenges associated with treating industrial emissions.
