摘要
In this paper, the effect of different Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) extrusion routes (route BC and route X) and passes on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-4Mg-0.3Ce were investigated by means of optical microscope and tensile tests. The experimental results show that as the number of ECAP passes increases, the grains under both routes are gradually refined. The difference is that route BC improves the grain uniformity more obviously, route X has a more obvious effect on grain refinement. Both routes lead to an improvement in the mechanical properties of Al-4Mg-0.3Ce, while the route X is more effective. After four passes of extrusion under route X, the yield strength of the sample is 166 MPa, the tensile strength of the sample is 262 MPa, and the elongation of the sample can reach 41.61%.
