High-speed laser cladding can improve both processes and the surface quality of the coating, however, post-treatment is still required to meet the requirements. The Power spinning is suitable for processing high-strength, hard-to-deform materials, which can effectively improve the quality of the coating surface and enhance the performance of the coating. In this study, two processes were proposed and explored for the post-treatment of laser cladding, i.e., Power spinning (PS) and post-spinning heat treatment (PSHT). The results show that PSHT treatment can effectively improve the wear resistance of the samples. The PS surface layer grains were refined and showed directionality, and the wear resistance was improved. The PSHT coating with dendritic eutectic was uniformly refined, and the organization became dense. The dislocation density within the crystal decreased and the strength of the material decreased while the plasticity increased, indicating better wear resistance gained.
