摘要
Our goal was to quantify the sinking velocities of fecal pellets produced by gonozooids of the doliolid Dolioletta gegenbauri and females of the calanoid copepod Eucalanus pileatus, which were offered various phytoplankton species and natural particulate matter, separately. Doliolid pellets were found to sink about two to three times slower than in previous studies.
