摘要
The magnetic and electric properties of Ni- BaTiO3- Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) composite has been investigated. Any system with spin-charge coupling at room temperature is expected to be useful for device applications. Nickel is a room temperature ferromagnet, and barium titanate is a room temperature ferroelectric material, which makes the system as a magnetoelectric. The polymer PDMS was used to make the flexible magnetoelectric material. It is observed that the saturation magnetization is reduced by the presence of polymer, and coercivity is not much lowered. Also, the effect of filler loading on the magnetic and electric properties is studied.
