Learn more.Copy URL Share a linkShare onFacebookTwitterLinkedInRedditWechat Graphical Abstract Inspired by the unique structure and lubrication mechanism of ball bearing, monodisperse, size-uniform hydrogel spheres are fabricated by Hongyu Zhang, Xiangyang Xu, Wenguo Cui, and co-workers in article number 2004519 using microfluidic technology, and subsequently modified with pSBMA to form superlubricated hydrogel microspheres using a one-step bionic grafting approach. The superlubricated hydrogel microspheres, with properties of enhanced lubrication and sustained drug release, are used for intra-articular treatment of osteoarthritis.
