Diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular syphilis

Syphilis can be divided into early stage and late stage depending on diagnostic phase. In late syphilis, cardiovascular syphilis and neurosyphilis have higher rate of incidence compared with the other organs damage, and the clinical symptoms of cardiovascular syphilis are more complex. Meanwhile, it is more difficult to make a diagnosis. In this paper, the development of the early diagnosis and treatment research of cardiovascular syphilis will be reviewed in detail.
