摘要
The impedance for an electrochemical reaction with an adsorbed intermediate is derived. The behaviour of the impedance as displayed in the complex impedance plane is considered. No assumptions as to the order of the reaction or the surface concentration isotherm are necessary to predict the general behaviour. The treatment is extended to cases where diffusion effects in the solution are important.
