XPS studies on cation exchanged zeolite A

An XPS study was carried out on zeolites NaKA. Its adsorption behavior was correlated with the surface spectroscopic observations. The study involves an estimation of the surface composition and precise binding energy measurements of the external framework atoms of zeolites NaKA, and relating these values to the adsorption and diffusion of water and carbon dioxide.
