Acrylamide/dimethyldiallylammonium chloride(AM/DMDAAC) hydrogels were prepared by free radical copolymerization in aqueous solution in the presence of N,N meth-ylene bis(acrylamide)(MBAAm) as crosslink agent, ammonium per sulfate and sodium bisulfite as redox initiator.Ionic strengths sensitive,pH sensitive and deswelling kinetics of the sample hydrogels in different electric stimulus were illustrated. It was found that ion intensity of solution had a favorable impact on the sample hydrogels.Hydrogels display an obvious variety on volume at mass point of NaCl of 0.3%.It was not sensitive on variety pH degrees. It was shown that monomer amount of DMDAAC had a favorable impact on electric sensitive properties of the AM/DMDAAC hydrogels.
