摘要
The reactivities with hydrocarbons of hole centers of the O− type generated by γ irradiation of V5+ and P5+ cations deposited on silica gel, and by uv irradiations of V5+SiO2 and stoichiometric TiO2 were studied. In each case reactions of methane and ethane with the hole centers were performed in both the presence and absence of oxygen. The similarities observed in the behavior of these holes is explained by the formation on the surface of stable alkoxide species CH3O− or C2H5O−. The peculiarities of the V5+SiO2 system under uv light are due to the reactive behavior of the reduced stable V4+ ion left, in this case, on the surface after completion of the oxidation of hydrocarbon molecule.
