摘要
Graphene has drawn a broad scope in different areas of research work because of its inherent two-dimensional design that renders an outstanding properties like low electrical resistance and mechanical properties with a broad surface region. Moreover, it is especially an ideal material for electrodes applied for supercapacitors (SCs) due to a large surface area, which doesn't differ with the size of pores and renders facile ionic accession to the two of its surfaces. Here we provided the survey on advances in the late innovative work of the utilization of graphene and its composite for energy storage applications. The focus was basically on the area of graphene combination with metal oxide, sulphide, conductive polymer composites and their possible uses in both asymmetric and symmetric SCs. Finally, it would state the increasing demand of efficient electrodes to ensure the requirement of its real-life applications as much as possible.
