2D Materials In their Communication on page 1074, J. Zhang and co-workers describe violet phosphorus single crystals and violet phosphorene. The structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and observed by HRTEM. Violet phosphorus is more stable than black phosphorus.
