摘要
This work describes the synthesis, structure and photophysical properties of 5,10,15-tetrakis(4- bromophenyl) porphyrin (H2TBrPP)-based magnesium(II) complexes ([Mg(TBrPP)(4,4′-bpy)] 1 and [Mg(TBrPP)(pyz)2] 2 ), involving 4,4′-bipyridine and pyrazine ligand, respectively. A penta- and hexa- coordination was evidenced in the case of 1 and 2 , respectively. These two complexes exhibit promising antifungal and antioxidant activities. • Synthesis of magnesium (II) complexes. • Molecular features were described via spectroscopic techniques. • Interesting preliminary antioxidant and antifungal activities is reported. This study concerns the synthesis of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)porphyrin (H 2 TBrPP)-based magnesium(II) complexes involving 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bpy) and pyrazine (pyz) ligand, for [Mg(TBrPP)(4,4′-bpy)] ( 1 ) and [Mg(TBrPP)(pyz) 2 ] ( 2 ), respectively. New complexes 1 and 2 were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies. The photo-physical properties were investigated by UV–visible absorption and emission spectroscopies. These new magnesium(II) complexes exhibit promising antifungal and antioxidant activities.
