摘要
Wettability Control of Plasma-Treated Surfaces via Fractal Parameters Functional properties of nanocomposites are linked to their morphological characteristics. In article number 2100724, Cecilia Piferi, Claudia Riccardi, and co-workers demonstrate that polyethylene-terephthalate samples treated with oxygen plasmas display scale-invariant morphology that evolves as a function of treatment time and leads to super-hydrophilic properties. Fractal dimension is identified as a bridge between surface morphology at nano- and micro-scale and macroscopic wettability.
