Abstract #1003710: A Comparison of Non-Diagnostic FNA Results for Thyroid Nodules Among Different Specialties

Multiple specialties teach and perform ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsy (USG-FNA) of thyroid nodules, including Radiology, Endocrinology, and Pathology. Differences in cytopathology results may relate to different USG-FNA techniques as well as differences in the nodules evaluated. This study aimed to perform a detailed analysis of USG-FNA outcomes among these different teaching services at a single academic medical center.
