Non-concentration quenching and energy transfer enhanced green emission in Ca8SrGd(PO4)7:Eu2+,Tb3+ for near-UV white LEDs with a high color rendering index

Approximately 6 times emission enhancement is achieved by the Eu 2+ to Tb 3+ energy transfer in Ca 8 SrTd(PO 4 ) 7 without concentration quenching and the as-prepared phosphor has been used for near-ultraviolet WLEDs with a high color rendering index.
