摘要
This is the first part of a taxonomic revision of the Oriental and Southwest Asian species of the genus Coptodera. The examination of almost all known species has enabled me to divide the genus into distinct species groups. The diagnosis for three of them, the proksi, flexuosa and luzonensis is given in this work. Three species—C. (Coptoderina) cyanella Bates, 1869, C. (Coptoderina) subapicalis Putzeys, 1877 and C. (Coptoderina) taiwana—are downgraded to subspecies of Coptodera (Coptoderina) flexuosa Schmidt-Göbel, 1846. Some new synonymies are proposed: Coptodera sapaensis Kirschenhofer, 1994, syn. nov. = Coptodera (Coptoderina) eluta Andrewes, 1923; Coptodera sexguttata Horvatovich, 1976, syn. nov. = Coptodera viridana Jedlička, 1935, syn. nov. = Coptodera impicta Chaudoir, 1869, syn. nov. = C. flexuosa cyanella Bates, 1869. One new subspecies, C. flexuosa philippinensis ssp. nov., is described from the Philippines. Taxonomic status of Coptoderina esakii Nakane, 1956, incertae sedis, is discussed. Coptodera (Coptoderina) proksi Jedlička, 1963 is recorded for the first time from China (Yunnan), Coptodera (Coptoderina) eluta Andrewes, 1923 from Cambodia, and Coptodera (Coptoderina) shimianensis Kirschenhofer, 2012 from Myanmar.
