摘要
Urban air mobility (UAM), advanced air mobility (AAM), and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) are emerging directions in the development of technology and industry in the fields of air transportation and aerospace in recent years. This article first introduces the development history, key technology aspects and current status of eVTOL aircraft, and then excerpts the latest UAM operation concept and AAM development plan announced by the US FAA. It also looks at the two related aspects of vehicle and overall air traffic system development, regarding the interdependence structure and the overall development trend among the three.
