Two‐Dimensional‐Materials Membranes for Gas Separations

Two-dimensional (2D)-materials membranes for gas separations are summarized in this chapter. Firstly, the emerging potential of various 2D-materials membranes is introduced. Then these representative works on 2D-materials membranes for gas separation are highlighted, being followed by the preparation methods, including top-down method and bottom-up method ones for various nanosheets and membranes. In addition, the summaries of the gas-separation applications of the state-of-art 2D-materials membranes are tabled. Finally, the challenges and opportunities in 2D-materials membranes for gas separations are proposed.
