摘要
This review presents a comprehensive review of recent advances in layered double hydroxide (LDHs) materials, with a focus on their synthesis, modification, and applications in wastewater treatment. We examine the structure and properties of LDHs materials, including aspects such as tunability, structural memory effect, thermal stability, acidity and alkalinity, stripability and assemblability. Various synthesis methods for LDHs materials are described, encompassing coprecipitation, urea hydrolysis, hydrothermal, sol-gel, and template. Additionally, we delve into diverse modification techniques, such as cation doping, anion exchange, reconstitution, delamination, and composite. Lastly, we discuss the potential applications of LDHs materials in wastewater treatment, specifically in the areas of adsorption and catalysis, with particular emphasis on the removal of heavy metal ions and dyes. In summary, This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances in LDHs materials and their potential for wastewater treatment.
