摘要
Metal nanoparticles (NPs) have shown great promise in various catalytic applications. However, metal NPs exhibit low stability and thus tend to lose their activity during catalytic reactions. Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) are emerging porous materials with high surface area, tunable porosity, easy modifications. MOFs can be used as versatile hosts to support metal NPs, denoted as MNP@MOF composites. The immobilized metal NPs show enhanced stability. Moreover, the components of MOFs (including inorganic nodes and organic ligands) can cooperatively work with metal NPs to show synergistic effects in the catalysis. We have comprehensively reviewed MNP@MOF composites in the field of electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and thermocatalysis. Moreover, we have proposed the future challenge and opportunities in this field.
