Hypoxia is intricately associated with various diseases, including ischemia, vascular disorders, and cancer. Particularly in cancer cells, hypoxia promotes tumor growth, cell proliferation, migration, and invasion and enhances treatment resistance, making its detection crucial for cancer diagnosis and therapy.
