A NEW DIMER OF AMIDE FROM PIPER LONGUM

A new amide,the dimer of d esmethoxypiplartine(1 ),together with four known comp ounds, (Z)- 12- octadecenic -α- glycerol monoester(2), piperine (3),β- sitosterol(4),daucosterol (5),were isloated from Piper longum L.The structures were determined by spectra data andcomparision with authentic samples.
