The incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, with a particular focus on generative models such as ChatGPT, has ushered in a revolutionary era in the field of education, fundamentally altering the way students engage with mathematical problem-solving. This scholarly article investigates the diverse roles and obstacles associated with harnessing the potential of ChatGPT and other generative AI tools to enhance mathematical proficiency. By implementing these cutting-edge technologies, educators can provide tailored learning experiences that cater to a wide array of learning styles and paces. This enables students to receive immediate feedback, participate in interactive problem-solving dialogues, and access step-by-step solutions that align with their individual requirements.
