摘要
ABSTRACTThis study examines the influence of four critical top management team (TMT) characteristics: (i) shared mindset, (ii) education, (iii) social capital, and (iv) the presence of a chief data officer on a firm's ability to orchestrate big data analytic capabilities to achieve competitive advantage. Our study's results indicate that education and social capital of the TMT have a significant positive impact on the firm's ability to orchestrate big data analytics capabilities for competitive advantage.KEYWORDS: big dataanalytic capabilitiescompetitive advantagetop management team characteristicsorchestrationmultimethodshared TMT mindseteducationsocial capitalchief data officerchief analytic officer Disclosure statementNo potential conflict of interest was reported by the author(s).Additional informationNotes on contributorsSujatha RayburnSujatha Rayburn has worked in the Data Analytics area for more than 20 years and takes pride in calling herself a "data evangelist".
