摘要
Composite braced line post insulators are often the default choice for compact transmission lines. The working load capabilities of conventional braced line posts are restricted by the post insulator standard core diameters and traditional connection hardware. This paper presents the use of reinforced fitting hardware, larger post insulator core diameters and triangulated insulated cross-arms to increase the assembly working load capabilities for high strength applications.
