摘要
Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) is widely used in the power industry, metallurgy, electronics, etc. due to its excellent insulation and stability properties, while it is the most greenhouse gas with a global warming potential value of 24,300 and an atmospheric lifetime of up to 3,200 years. To achieve the "net zero" goal, various treatment and control methods have been proposed to reduce the impact of SF6 on climate. This review summarized various SF6 degradation and transformation methods, including thermal, photocatalytic, electrochemical and non-thermal plasma degradation. The working principles, platform design, treatment mechanism of various degradation technologies were compared. The industrial application and existing problems as well as prospects were proposed. It provides inspiring suggestions for the control of SF6 and the development of degradation technology in the field.
