CaCO3 nanoplatform for cancer treatment: drug delivery and combination therapy

CaCO 3 nanoparticles as nanocarriers for drug, protein, gene, and co-delivery are discussed. Furthermore, their combinations with other therapies, including photodynamic therapy, sonodynamic therapy, immunotherapy, and imaging, are reviewed.
