摘要
The dependence of the width of major domains in grain-oriented SiFe sheet on the frequency and amplitude of sinusoidal magnetization at power frequencies is calculated by minimizing the sum of domain wall and demagnetizing contributions to the mean free energy over the magnetization cycle. This follows a proposal by Sharp and Horner extended by Mohri, Sato, and Fujimoto. But here, in contrast to these earlier treatments, bowing distortion of the domain walls by the inhomogeneous eddy current field is resisted by their surface tension, not by an artificial local restoring force. Both cube-on-edge and cube-on-face textures are considered.< >
